Data deletion
You can remove a single Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok or YouTube connection without deleting your other accounts, or request deletion of your whole MakeMyReel account.
Option 1
Disconnect one social account
Open MakeMyReel Settings → Social Media Accounts, choose the connected grant and select Disconnect. This revokes or erases the stored credential, disables its destinations and unassigns character publishing routes. Other connected accounts remain available.
Option 2
Delete your MakeMyReel account
Open Settings → Privacy & Legal → Delete account and follow the confirmation flow. This removes or de-identifies account data according to the Privacy Policy and any legal retention obligations.
Option 3
Send a privacy request
Email privacy@makemyreel.ai from your account email. State whether you want a provider connection or the whole MakeMyReel account deleted. We may verify your identity before acting.
Provider-initiated requests
When Meta sends a valid signed deauthorization or data-deletion callback for Facebook, Instagram or Threads, MakeMyReel records the request, prevents it from deleting a newer authorization, removes the affected credentials and provider-derived profile data, and returns an opaque status link and confirmation code to Meta.
